Project Details

Discovery & Analysis: During coaching sessions with clients, I hypothesized a gap in client knowledge around mindful eating practices. To explore my hypothesis, I conducted a series of assessments and surveys with my clients to understand their eating habits, stress levels, and awareness of mindful eating practices. During these assessments, it became evident that many clients were struggling with high stress, weight gain, and stagnant weight loss while juggling full-time jobs, families, and other commitments. When asked about their familiarity with mindful eating, the majority of clients expressed that they had never heard of the concept before. This indicated a significant learning gap in their understanding and application of mindful eating techniques.

Problem Statement: Clients are experiencing high stress, weight gain, and stagnant weight loss due to a lack of knowledge about mindful eating, compounded by the challenges of balancing full-time jobs, families, and other commitments.

Objective: Clients will be able to understand and apply the principles of mindful eating to their daily routines, effectively manage stress, make healthier food choices, and achieve sustainable weight management, all while balancing their full-time jobs, family responsibilities, and other commitments.

Data-Driven Solution: A series of introductory micro e-Learning courses, Facebook Live feedback and Q&A sessions, job aids; daily mindful eating and stress journals.

Process: Assessed clients' needs through surveys and interviews to identify their knowledge gap in mindful eating. In the Design phase, I structured the course content and developed learning objectives. During the Development phase, I created engaging multimedia content, interactive activities, and assessments. The Implementation phase involved delivering the course to clients and providing support. Finally, in the Evaluation phase, I gathered feedback and assessed clients' progress to ensure the course effectively addressed their needs and made necessary adjustments for improvement.
