The @Work Series Micro e-Learning in the Learning Management System

Project Details

Problem: Staff experienced a learning gap in non-technical, noncognitive skill development and understanding.

Objective: Developed and increase staff’s social emotional skills to solve problems effectively, be more engaged at work, form better relationships, and set effective goals, supporting the organizational culture.

Analysis: Conducted staff-wide noncognitive-skill inventory survey, staff-wide learning preference survey, and stakeholder interviews.

Data-Driven Solution: Provided accessible and inclusive blended learning experiences, including a catalog of noncognitive skills using micro e-Learning modules embedded with engaging, vetted multimedia, LinkedIn Learning, vetted resources, article reviews, various activities, virtual ILT sessions, job aids, and periodic fun-infused check-ins.

Process: Utilized agile ADDIE process with scrum project management support, conducted content research and development, curriculum development, collaborated with the research and analytics team, made iterative improvements, and gathered stakeholder feedback. Utilized frameworks such as P.O.U.R. and UDL to reduce learning barriers and tailor experiences for all learners.
